17-7PH
Product introduction
17-7PH is an austenitic martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel developed on the basis of 18-8CrNi, also known as controlled transformation stainless steel.
Chinese name: 17-7PH stainless steel
Alias: 631
Category: stainless steel
Standards: AISI, ASTM
Essential information
Name: precipitation hardening stainless steel
Standards: AISI, ASTM
Model: 17-7PH (631)
UNS No.: S17700
Characteristics and application
After solution treatment, 17-7PH stainless steel has unstable austenite structure with good plasticity, toughness and workability. After adjustment, the precipitation of austenite and carbonization phenological composition change. After martensite transformation treatment, most of the structure changes into low-carbon tempered martensite with good toughness. This state is the service state of steel, with good medium temperature mechanical properties. The corrosion resistance of 17-7PH is superior to that of ordinary martensitic stainless steel.
